D6 Dice-Pool Roller

Assemble your pool, roll, and read the single highest die. No arithmetic, no modifiers. The highest face on the table decides the outcome tier. Use this at the table or when running D6 Storyteller online.

Set your pool size and press Roll to begin.

Reading the Highest Die

6: Full Success

You achieve what you set out to do. Multiple 6s = Great Effect (more, faster, or lasting impact).

4–5: Partial Success

You accomplish your goal, but at a cost: a complication, minor harm, or reduced effect. The story moves forward.

1–3: Failure

You don't get what you wanted, and a consequence strikes. Failure is never a dead stop; it propels the narrative.
